As our Design Assistant, you will play an integral role in helping XclúJohn bring its creative vision to life. This position is perfect for skilled individuals with a passion for craftsmanship and design who thrive in a flexible, remote environment. You’ll work on creating high-quality garments, assisting with design sketches, and even helping with packing and fulfilling orders.

Starting as a project-based role, you’ll have the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with the Creative Director and participating in monthly in-person meetings to align on goals, test designs, and review productivity. This position will transition into an official part-time role as XclúJohn grows into a studio space.
To assure proficiency, this role generally pays on a "piecework" structure, in addition to hourly when fulfilling RTW orders and referral bonuses.

This person will be at the forefront of creativity, innovation and technology. Your role involves translating conceptual ideas into visually captivating textile designs that harmonize with the overarching themes and aesthetic visions of XclúJohn. With a keen eye for color, pattern, and texture, you will collaborate closely with the Creative Director/Designer to develop fabrics that elevate our garments to new heights.
From sketching initial concepts to overseeing the production process, your input will be pivotal in ensuring that our pieces stand out in a competitive market. This person can be located anywhere in the world, as your responsibilities can be fulfilled remotely.
You will dedicate an average of 10-20 hours per month toward conceptualizing textiles throughout this internship. These 6 months will allow you thorough time to gain experience, learn, design textiles for multiple projects, add to your portfolio & prove yourself if interested in being hired officially, part-time come 2026.
This “Learn & Gain Experience While Working” based internship is from April 14th to October 17th (6 months). You will dedicate an average of 10-20 hours (spread across up to 3 days) a week toward this internship including meetings, set days (shoots) and completing projects/deliverables. As the Marketing & Operations Assistant, you will help make big decisions and work closely with MJ, the Creative Director/Head Designer/Founder of XclúJohn. The ideal candidate for this role is located in ATLANTA.

This person will ideally fulfill the role of being the stylist for campaigns, photoshoots, shows, fittings & lookbooks while also being the go-to person for on-set assistance (ex: shoot organic bts visuals, fix collars, snip hanging threads missed on garments, pull shoes/accessories) & concept ideas. You will also step in to help fulfill orders if needed (packing) and contribute toward marketing/campaign ideas. This person must be located in ATLANTA.
