XCLÚJOHN: 2026 Internship Roles

Application & Interview Period: Now – February 27, 2026
Internship Term: March 2026 – July 2026 (4 months minimum)
Extension Option: Up to 8 months total (November 2026)
Time Commitment: ~ approx 8-16 hours per week (you should never exceed 18hrs in one week)
Location: Atlanta, GA (see role-specific requirements below)

XCLÚJOHN is a fashion-centric creative house rooted in exclusivity, ethical craftsmanship, and elevated visual storytelling about the excluded of the world. Our internship program is designed for self-motivated creatives who want real, hands-on experience inside a growing independent premium brand.

Interns will work closely with the Founder & Creative Director across marketing, content, and brand development. While each role has a core focus, this is a collaborative, cross-functional environment, and interns will have opportunities to contribute beyond their primary role.

This is an unpaid internship intended for students, recent graduates, or early-career creatives seeking portfolio-building experience, real-world exposure, and mentorship.

At the conclusion of the internship, interns will leave with:

  • Tangible portfolio work

  • Practical industry experience

  • Professional references (based on performance)

One intern will be selected to attend the XCLÚJOHN Yacht Mixer in June 2026 complimentary, based on overall contribution, reliability, and impact throughout the internship. You must be 21 or older to attend.


POSITION 1: Social Media & Content Intern

Location: Atlanta, GA (Required)
In-Studio Requirement: Minimum 1 day per week (hands-on content creation)

This role blends content creation + social media management. You will be responsible for executing XCLÚJOHN’s social presence from concept to posting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create general & short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc

  • Assist with in-studio content days (behind-the-scenes, product features, fittings, shoots)

  • Manage posting schedules and captions across platforms

  • Track basic performance metrics (engagement, reach, saves)

  • Stay aligned with brand aesthetics, tone, and visual standards

  • Support campaign launches, drops, and events with social content

Ideal Candidate:

  • Comfortable being in front of and behind the camera

  • Strong understanding of TikTok & Instagram trends

  • Visually aware and detail-oriented

  • Reliable, organized, and proactive

  • Able to work independently while collaborating closely with the team


POSITION 2: Growth Marketing Intern (Email, SMS & Audience Strategy)

Location: Atlanta, GA (Required)
In-Studio Requirement: Minimum 1 day per week

This role focuses on the backend and strategic side of marketing — growth, funnels, and audience targeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with email and SMS marketing campaigns

  • Build and organize email/SMS lists

  • Help identify and refine target audiences by location, behavior, and demographics

  • Support funnel creation and campaign strategy

  • Analyze basic performance data (open rates, click-throughs, conversions)

  • Assist with monthly influencer outreach and partnerships
  • Collaborate with the social team to align messaging across channels

Ideal Candidate:

  • Interested in growth marketing, digital strategy, or brand analytics

  • Comfortable working with data, lists, and segmentation

  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail

  • Curious about how fashion brands scale audiences and sales

  • Organized and deadline-driven


POSITION 3: Graphic Design & Content Editing Intern

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Time Zone Requirement: Eastern Time (ET)

This role supports the brand visually through graphic design and editing. You will help bring concepts to life across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design graphics for social media, email, SMS, and web use

  • Assist with photo and video editing for marketing content

  • Support campaign visuals, flyers, and digital assets

  • Maintain consistency with XCLÚJOHN’s visual identity

  • Collaborate with the social and marketing teams on creative execution

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools

  • Strong visual eye and understanding of luxury branding

  • Comfortable editing short-form video and static graphics

  • Able to meet deadlines independently while working remotely

 



POSITION 4: Fashion Production & Design Intern

Location: Atlanta, GA (Required)
In-Studio Requirement: Minimum 2 days per week (hands-on production)

This role is for individuals specifically interested in the design, construction, and production side of fashion. It is a hands-on internship centered around garment and accessory creation, working directly alongside the Founder & Creative Director.

This is the only internship role with a direct pathway into a paid position following the required four-month internship period, based on performance and skill level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with garment and accessory construction

  • Support draping, pattern-making, and garment development

  • Perform hand sewing and finishing work

  • Assist with sewing on both domestic and industrial machines

  • Support production of limited-run pieces and client orders (as skills allow)

  • Assist with fittings, alterations, and construction prep

  • Work closely with the Founder on design and production tasks

Technical Requirements:

  • Must currently be enrolled in, or have recently completed, a fashion design or fashion production–related program

  • Must already know how to sew (beginner-level hobbyists will not be considered)

  • Experience using:

    • At-home sewing machines

    • Industrial sewing machines (ex: Juki DU-1181N, Juki DDL-8700 or similar)

  • Understanding of fabric handling and construction basics

  • Ability to work carefully with premium and costly materials

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fashion design student or recent graduate

  • Strong interest in garment construction and production

  • Detail-oriented and respectful of materials

  • Reliable, focused, and eager to learn in a real studio environment

  • Comfortable assisting on both brand pieces and client garments

Paid Opportunity Pathway:

  • Internship term: 4 months (March–July 2026)

  • Upon successful completion and strong performance:

    • Intern may transition into a paid Fashion Design Assistant role starting Month 5

    • Paid work may include production assistance, order fulfillment, and ongoing design support

  • Atlanta-based roles must be able to attend in-studio days.
