Natural 'wear and tear' is an inherent consequence of regular garment use and is virtually unavoidable. Therefore, we extend our commitment to repairing any snags, reinforcing loose threads, mending holes, and replacing beaded embroidery, all with the goal of rejuvenating your garment or handbag.

At XclúJohn, we hold the principles of garment longevity and sustainability in the highest regard. Our aim is to instill confidence in our customers, ensuring they receive enduring value from their investments and cherish their items for as long as possible, thus contributing to the reduction of waste. This initiative underscores our dedication to providing a comprehensive solution for all.

Our 4-year repair warranty serves as a testament to our commitment to customer satisfaction, sustainability, minimizing consumption and the durability of our pieces.

In order to ensure that we can adequately allocate time to address all garment repairs, we kindly request that customers limit themselves to one complimentary mending appointment per calendar year. We strongly recommend that if you have multiple garments or handbags in need of repair, you consolidate them and bring them all in for a single appointment to maximize the efficiency of the process.

The Signature Fit Adjustment — $80

PREMIUM alterations designed to refine and tailor the fit of your garment.

Includes:

• Pant hemming ($60)

• Sleeve shortening

• Taking in the waist

• Tapering pant legs

• Taking in the sides of tops or garments

• Shortening tops, dresses, or pants ($60)

• Reinforcing buttons/replacing zippers

Expansion Adjustment & Reinforcement — $95

PREMIUM Alterations that require adding fabric and expanding the garment’s structure, which requires additional time and materials.

Examples include:

• Letting out the waist

• Widening pant legs

• Adding flare to pants

• Expanding garment openings
  

Standard turnaround: 24 - 72hrs

 

*Prices are per alteration. If in need of multiple alterations on one garment, we will only charge you a one-hundred USD flat rate for that one garment instead of charging the full rate twice.

For clients who tailor their wardrobe regularly, our Alterations Membership provides unlimited basic alterations for a single monthly rate. 

$500 per month (all fees included)

Membership Includes:

• Unlimited basic fit alterations

• Up to 4 garments per visit

• 72-hour general turnaround

• 2 same-day alterations per month

• Priority scheduling

• Garment Storage

Basic alterations include:

• Hemming

• Sleeve shortening

• Taking in garments at the waist

• Tapering pant legs

• Shortening garments

• Taking in sides for a slimmer fit

This Membership focuses on refining garments to be smaller or shorter.

The following are not included in the membership:

• Alterations that make garments larger

• Fabric additions

• Letting out waists

These services fall under Expansion Adjustments  ($95+) and are billed separately.

Members may bring up to 4 garments per visit with up to one visit weekly, to ensure we can sustain storage & prioritize everyone subscribed to our alterations membership.
